featured publications – Powerful and effective numerical methods are required for designing optical coatings. A new family of design algorithms, so called deep search methods has now been developed by the AMP group of the Laboratory for Attosecond Physics. The methods now provide better design solutions for complicated design problems, first of all of laser-related coatings operating in broadband visible, near-infrared, and mid-infrared spectral ranges.
